Ranch Dressing
If you want to eat healthier and prepare more of your own food from scratch, homemade condiments are a great place to start! So many sauces and dressings on the store shelf contain preservatives, added sugar, and highly processed oils, but you can skip it all by making your own condiments at home. They are quick and easy to prepare using ingredients you most likely already have on hand. Just throw it all in a jar and give it a quick shake!
This ranch adds a bright, tangy flavor to a salad and also pairs well with carrot sticks or chicken strips. Feel free to customize the seasonings until you find your perfect blend.

1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 1/2 teaspoons dried dill
1 teaspoon dried oregano
pinch of salt
Instructions

Screw lid on jar and shake until fully combined or whisk together in bowl.
Use within 5 days.
Recipe Notes:
Depending on the mayo you use, you may still have oils and preservatives in your ranch. This is where you get to make a choice based on preference, budget, and availability. I would argue even if you do use a "typical" mayo, this recipe is still healthier than your average ranch on the shelf. Another option is to simply replace the mayo with more yogurt- it will just be slightly tangier and a little thinner.
Add a splash of milk or buttermilk for a thinner consistency.
Yay for yogurt! This gives a probiotic boost in a different way than your usual smoothie or bowl of yogurt.
